Evolution of Tradition Exhibition

September 13, 2018

We are delighted to be participating in the Evolution of Tradition exhibition at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, London from Tuesday 2nd – Friday 5th October 2018.

The Evolution of Tradition is an exciting new luxury selling exhibition bringing together the very best contemporary bespoke furniture made in the UK, from designer-makers from across the country. This exhibition consolidates traditional principles with a contemporary outlook.

If you’ve ever heard the phrase ‘things aren’t made how they used to be’ this exhibition will provide plenty of evidence to the contrary. The work exhibited in ‘Evolution of Tradition’ is of the very highest standard and will certainly expel any misconceptions about the loss of craftmanship and skills by demonstrating the very best in contemporary bespoke furniture design.

All the designer-makers in this specially selected exhibition have one thing in common: they all hold at least one prestigious Bespoke Guild Mark awarded by The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers*. To be awarded a Bespoke Guild Mark each designer-maker not only needs to demonstrate the highest quality in craftsmanship, but also show innovation and excellence in design.

Edward will be showing his Splash coffee table, set of three Chichester Tables and Radiant desk.
