Apprentice cabinet maker job vacancies

Every year we aim to employ a young apprentice as a workshop assistant to help with the smooth running of the workshop and supporting our senior cabinet makers in their daily manufacturing activities.

The part time position includes: cleaning & maintenance; sanding; oiling; helping cabinet makers with certain tasks; cutting up waste timber; producing small eco-products from waste hardwood; wrapping & despatch; and exhibition preparations.

We typically recruit for this position through the summer months in time for the new college year in September. We require applicants to have some basic woodworking experience including timber machining.
