Bespoke TV Cabinets

Media savvy

It’s hard to view your television as a source of entertainment and relaxation when it’s atop a bird’s nest of wires. Even with Bluetooth technology, media devices need storage and have wires for plugging into a power source. A bespoke TV cabinet can completely transform an unsightly muddle reminiscent of a server room into a well-organised, fit-for-purpose space.

More than just a TV cabinet

While some people have televisions on display throughout their house, others prefer them hidden away when not in use. The beauty of a bespoke TV cabinet is the ability to tailor it to your individual lifestyle, aesthetic and needs. After considering how to store your media devices, we’ll look at your other storage needs. Depending on the room, you might want it to store books, games, toys, ornaments – whatever you like.

Behind closed doors

If, along with watching a good film or big sporting fixture, you also enjoy listening to the radio and reading, you may not want the television to permanently dominate the room. Closing the TV away when it’s not in use can contribute to a more peaceful and aesthetically pleasing environment.

A dresser design is a popular solution, encasing the TV behind bi-fold doors. By removing the TV as a focal point in the room, you can think more freely about the space and layout. We often make the doors covering the media devices in a louvre-style, wooden-slatted design so they hide the devices from view while still allowing the remote to work.

Mixed media

We often use a range of materials in custom TV cabinets and can tailor their design and application to match your existing or preferred interior style. We can incorporate glass in doors and drawers, whether clear, smoked glass, acid etched, fabric laminated, or kiln formed. Metalwork can also feature in the design, from fixtures and fittings, such as hinges and handles, to design detailing, such as inlay or framing. Choose from a range of metals and patinas for the perfect finish and to complement the timber.

Seamlessly integrated

A bespoke cabinet can be made to exact measurements, down to the millimetre. We can accurately template spaces and fit your cabinet from wall to wall and floor to ceiling to maximise your space. Read more about our fitted furniture service for a seamless overview of wall to wall installations.
